Start AutoCAD without any drawing open

At command prompt, type STARTUP and hit Enter.  Type 2 and hit Enter.

When you close AutoCAD and then re-open it, you will be greeted with a nice, clean screen with no drawing opened.

  2. ARGGG. I really wanted to use this tip but Acad being what it is tells me that 0 and 1 are my only options. BOOO! I'll go back to revit now and not worry about it.
