Windows 7 Explorer fails to restart after uninstalling an Autodesk product

Solution
Restart Windows Explorer using the following steps:
  1. Start the Windows Task Manager
  2. Choose File -> "New Task (Run...)"
  3. Enter explorer.exe in the edit field
  4. Click OK
